Tuface visits Sound Sultan’s grave site to pay homage

Tuface was accompanied to the grave site by his tour Manager, Frankie, and his friends Emmanuel and Blackah

Ace musician and songwriter Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, recently visited the grave site of his late colleague, Olanrewaju Fasasi a.k.a Sound Sultan.

The “African Queen” crooner made this known after he shared the video of the visit on his official Instagram page on Monday, May 23. 

In the video, Tuface was seen paying tribute to the late musician by laying a wreath on his tomb, while a song featuring him and the late Sound Sultan was playing in the background.

He was accompanied by his tour Manager, Frankie, and his friends Emmanuel and Blackah. 

Tuface wrote, “Went to pay my respect to my brother Sound Sultan. With my brothers @emmaugolee @amfrankiej @blackahrank.

“July 11, world Sultan day. Blessed #grateful #warrior. We miss you my dear friend @soundsultan. Olanrewaju Fasasi. Bless up,”

Sound Sultan, passed away in July last year after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.

Before his death, he released four albums under his former record label, Kennis Music, and in 2007, he partnered with his brother, Baba Dee to start a record label “Naija Ninjas.

The late singer is survived by his wife, Farida Fasasi, and their three children.
