He hailed the 34-year-old at his pre-match press conference ahead of Argentina’s World Cup Round of 16 clash with Egypt on Tuesday evening.

Speaking on the Round of 16 encounter, Scaloni said it would be an honour for his team to play against Salah at the ongoing World Cup.
While revealing the tactics his team will employ during the fixture, he further admitted that the Reds forward deserves ‘special attention’.
”Tomorrow will be no exception; they are a tough opponent. As for Salah, he’s a top player, and it’s an honour to face him,” Scaloni said.
He added: “But we always adopt a collective defence, and he deserves special attention; we analyse the entire Egypt team.”
