Don Jazzy and his former artists, D’banj, Wande Coal, and Tiwa Savage released six of the songs on the list.

Nigerian music executive, singer, songwriter and businessman, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, has boasted that he produced about 12 per cent of the songs on the recently released Billboard’s Top 50 ‘Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time’ list.
He made this known on Thursday night via his official X page while reacting to the report.
TheNiche had earlier reported that 2Face’s hit song, “African Queen” topped the list curated by Billboard staff, while two songs from Wizkid, Ojuelegba” at number 2 and “Essence” featuring Tems at number 5 also made the top 10.
Other notable artists in the top 10 include Rema with “Calm Down” at number 4, Favour with “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)” at number 3, and CKay with “Love Nwantiti” at number 6.

D’banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’, Davido’s ‘Fall’, Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’ and P-Square’s ‘Chop My Money Remix’ (feat. Akon) completed the top 10.
Reacting to the list via his verified social media handle, Jazzy noted that he produced six of the 50 songs.
He wrote, “Inside the 50 I sha produced 6. I try Abi I no try”
