Wolves set to sign Super Eagles striker, Tolu Arokodare

Arokodare since joining Genk in 2023 has scored 35 goals in 95 appearances in all competitions.

English Premier League (EPL) club, Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. are about to sign Nigerian international, Tolu Arokodare from Belgian club, Genk.

This was revealed on Friday night in a post shared by Italian Journalist and football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

According to him, a deal has been agreed in principle between Wolves and Genk and the Premier League club are expected to pay €27m for the striker’s services. 

He further added that Arokodare is expected to undergo a medical at the Molineux on Saturday.

He wrote, ” Wolves agree deal in principle to sign Tolu Arokodare as new striker from Genk, here we go!

“€27m fee agreed with Genk tonight and medical booked on Saturday for #WWFC new striker.

“New important addition for Wolves”

In a separate post on Saturday, Romano once again revealed that the deal is done subject to medicals.   

“Tolu Arokodare, completing his medical at Wolves later today after €27m deal agreed with Genk.

“The deal is done” he added. 

Arokodare joined Genk in 2023 and has scored 35 goals in 95 appearances in all competitions for the club.
