TheNiche had earlier reported that Buhari, a former military Head of State and democratically elected President, died in a London clinic on Sunday.

His remains were later buried in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, on Tuesday.

Speaking about the former president,
Seun, who is one of the sons of Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, said the late leader “dealt and damaged” his family during his tenure as Head of State.

He, however, added that Buhari’s death isn’t justice for the crimes he allegedly committed against his family.

He regretted that his father and uncles, whom he claimed were unjustly persecuted by Buhari, died long before the former president.

Kuti said his only consolation is that the trio would gang up against Buhari in a fight in the afterlife if there’s such thing.

He said, “There’s nobody Buhari has offended and damaged like my family. Buhari dealt with my family, but his death is not any type of justice or victory for my family.

“My only regret is that my dad Fela, and my uncles Koye and Beko died before him; all better men than him. The only solace I can take from his death is that the three of them will gang up against him in the afterlife if there’s such a thing.”
