Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has questioned the decision of Bruno Fernandes to snub Saudi Pro League club, Al-Hilal, saying he would have left Old Trafford this summer if he was in the Portuguese’ shoes.
The former England international made this known recently during an interview with The Mirror.

Al-Hilal were ready to offer United captain, Fernandes a tax-free contract in the region of £700,000-a-week plus bonuses for him to move to the Middle East.
They were also eager to land the playmaker before the Club World Cup for a transfer fee worth £100million.

However, Fernandes rejected the deal, opting to continue playing for the Premier League outfit.
When asked to comment on the decision of the 30-year-old midfielder to continue staying in England, Ferdinand said it shows he is loyal to the Red Devils.
He said, “If I was him, I think I’d have found it difficult to say no. I’ve got to be honest..
“The one thing it says to me, there’s a loyalty. And I think that word gets banded about quite a lot, but we don’t really see it often from the club’s point of view and the players.”
