Rice played in Arsenal’s narrow 1-0 Premier League win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium during the midweek.

Eight Arsenal players did not take part in the club’s training at the Sobha Realty Training Centre ahead of their FA Cup fifth-round clash against League One side Mansfield Town.
Those missing include Mikel Merino, William Saliba, Ben White, Martin Ødegaard, Declan Rice, Jurriën Timber, Gabriel Magalhães, and Martín Zubimendi.
While Merino is still recovering from foot surgery, Saliba, White, and their skipper, Ødegaard, remain doubts due to injury concerns.

However, the likes of Rice, Timber, Gabriel, and Zubimendi appear to have been rested as Mikel Arteta rotates the squad amid a busy schedule.
The Gunners are still competing in four competitions and will travel to face Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League (UCL) last-16 tie in midweek.
After the trip to Germany, Arsenal will welcome Everton to the Emiratesas they continue their quest to win the Premier League title.
