The marital crisis between Senator Ned Nwoko and his wife, Regina Daniels, has spiraled into a full-blown family feud, with policemen now holding the Nollywood actress’s brother, Sammy Daniels, in a police station.
A video posted by Sammy’s wife alleged that a policeman, posing as a realtor, violently handcuffed Sammy with help from other officers.
Hours later, Rita Daniels, Regina’s mother, specifically accused Ned Nwoko of hiring the policemen, including drunks, to harass her children.
She said: “…Ned gave them instructions to beat my son to a stupor. Sammy is being held. Nigerians, come and help me. My son is in trouble. They have been holding him for the last seven hours… I am begging you.”
She also reacted to the action of a man dressed in plain clothes who was holding a camera to her face and blocking her from advancing into the police station. “The man holding this camera is also drunk. Nigerians, come and help me.”
