Regina Daniels hopes for divine healing as medical condition restricts her to wheel chair

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about the health challenges she has faced over the past few months after appearing in a recent video seated in a wheelchair.
Celebrating her 25th birthday, the actress shared a video on Instagram expressing gratitude to God for what she described as a year filled with blessings, despite the difficulties she has endured.
In the video, Daniels revealed that her health struggles had significantly affected her mobility, leaving her unable to move around freely as she once did.
“For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this” she said.
According to the actress, the pain in her leg began as a minor issue but worsened following the Children’s Day carnival she hosted on May 27, 2026. She disclosed that she subsequently underwent numerous medical tests, jokingly referring to herself as a “lab rat” because of the repeated procedures.
“It’s been one test after another that I jokingly started calling myself a lab rat,” she said.
Daniels also spoke about the physical and emotional toll of the condition, explaining that her ability to walk had become unpredictable, sometimes requiring help to take a step.
“The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I find myself walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move,” she added.
Despite the challenges, the actress said she has continued to rely on her faith, holding onto the belief that God would grant her divine healing. Although she noted that her condition has improved, she acknowledged that the uncertainty surrounding her mobility remains intact.
Daniels also disclosed that she had purchased a new home located closer to her medical facilities and her two children, making access to medical care and spending time with her family more convenient.
She also expressed appreciation to her family and friends for their support, as well as for the gifts she received to celebrate her new home.
