Kane netted 61 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions, helping Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga crown and the German Cup.

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit has insisted that three players are ahead of England captain Harry Kane in the race for the 2026 Ballon d’Or award.
The ex-France international made this known recently while speaking with Mr Gamble, as quoted by GOAL.
Kane scored 61 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions and helped Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga crown, as well as the German Cup.
He was, however, unable to lift his first Champions League crown, with the German side only managing to reach the semi-finals.
He also endured more heartache at the World Cup as England fell at the semi-final stage in the USA, despite the striker scoring six goals in seven appearances at the tournament.

Wading into who is the favourite to win the Ballon d’Or this year, Petit argued that Kane’s chances of clinching the award are over because players like Argentina captain Lionel Messi and Spain stars Lamine Yamal and Rodri are ahead of him.
“Harry Kane’s Ballon d’Or chances are over. If you base that only on the German league, no problem at all,” Petit said. “But in the Champions League and with the national team, I think he disappeared. So I think there are a few names ahead of him.”
Asked which players are likely to win the Ballon d’Or ahead of the Bayern Munich striker, he added: “Yamal. He had a great World Cup. Rodri has been the best player again during this World Cup. Messi had a great competition, but he plays for Inter Miami.”
Kane is currently on holiday after his international commitments, but once he returns to Bayern Munich, he is expected to open talks over a new contract with the German giants.
Meanwhile, the organisers of the Ballon d’Or are expected to announce the winner of the award in October.
