England midfielder Jude Bellingham has insisted there is no cause for alarm despite his team’s 0-0 draw against Ghana in their World Cup clash at the Boston Stadium on Tuesday.

He urged fans, teammates, and the technical crew to remain calm while speaking after the encounter, which was heavily dominated by the Three Lions.

Thomas Tuchel’s men couldn’t break down a resolute Black Stars side over the 90 minutes, despite dominating possession, completing more passes, winning more corner kicks, and registering far more shots both on and off target.

Reacting to the outcome of the Group L fixture, Bellingham noted that such results just happen in football.

He commended the West Africans for holding out for a draw despite being put under constant pressure for the majority of the match.

“It’s one of those things that can happen,” the Real Madrid star told FIFA’s website.

Bellingham added: “Credit to Ghana. They got out of the game what they played for. We couldn’t quite break them down, even with all the corners, all the possession, all the shots on goal.

“I’m young, but I’m still one of the experienced players [in the dressing room]. There are no worries, no stress, no drama at all in there.”
