Bella Shmurda pens emotional message as he remembers late music star Mohbad

​Bella Shmurda and Mohbad shared a close relationship and worked together on several musical projects during their careers.

​Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has penned an emotional message while remembering his late friend and colleague, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, who died three years ago.

​The ‘Vision 2020’ hitmaker mourned the music star on Saturday, September 12, in a post he shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) page.

​Bella and Mohbad shared a close relationship and worked together on several musical projects during their careers.

​Following the death of the latter, the former channelled his grief into music, releasing “My Brother” as a tribute to the late singer.

​He also dedicated his R2 Sept 12 project to Mohbad, further cementing the late artist’s place in his musical journey.

​However, in a recent short but weighty message three years after the singer’s demise, Bella Shmurda wrote: “Woe to Evildoers. Keep resting Imole!”

Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, and his death has remained one of the most talked-about tragedies in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
