Femi Azeez, who currently plays as a winger for English Championship side Millwall, has pledged his international allegiance to Nigeria.
The forward was born in England to a Nigerian father and a Spanish mother. He is, therefore, eligible to don the colours of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, England’s Three Lions, or the Spanish La Roja.
However, according to Footmercato.net, the 24-year-old has opted to play for the Super Eagles following an approach by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
After committing his future to Nigeria, Azeez is now expected to be named in the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming friendly invitational tournament.
