Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) winner, Mercy Eke, has expressed regret over her participation in the reality show, blaming her inability to settle down on her fame.
She made this known recently during an emotional interview with Nigerian radio personality and television host, Toke Makinwa.
Speaking about her romantic experiences and her struggle to find a life partner after the show, she noted that her celebrity status had negatively impacted her prospects of tying the knot.

Reflecting on how fame has affected her marriage prospects, the reality star said that despite supporting men financially, it had not led to a stable relationship.
Recounting the negative impact of the show, she said, “I regret going to Big Brother even though I love the benefits that come from it. I dey fall in love like mumu, now I said to myself that I want to marry, I want to marry but it’s not easy.
“I have dated guys that I have given a lot of money to, not one not two, because they don’t have.”
