Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa, who is widely renowned for playing the role of a police officer, has dismissed viral reports of his death as fake news.
He made this known in a trending Instagram video that recently made the rounds on social media.
The news of the thespian’s demise had gone viral after an obituary poster announcing his death surfaced online.

While refuting the reports that he had passed away, Ajasa said: “I’m still very much alive and in good health.”
Calling out the internet users and platforms responsible for circulating the false news, he added: “To everyone posting my obituary around, I’m saying ‘back to sender’ to you and your family.
”Good day everyone, my name remains Owolabi Ajasa, your Nollywood police officer. I want to tell all my fans, both in Nigeria and abroad, that I’m still very much alive. I’m alive, hale and hearty. There’s nothing wrong with me.”
