Maria took the trip to the Imo State capital, Owerri to attend the funeral of Mercy Eke’s dad, but seized the opportunity to visit her late dad’s village

Actress and former BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition Housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin, recently travelled to Owerri and seized the opportunity to visit her late father’s house and grave site.
The 30-year-old reality star had taken the trip down to the Imo State capital, Owerri to attend the funeral ceremony of the father of her colleague, Mercy Eke.
However, after the luxurious ceremony, Maria paid a visit to her late father’s house in the village, where she was spotted at his grave site.

She shared a video that captured her arrival at the house and showed her fans her late father and grandmother’s grave which were located beside each other.
The former air hostess later got emotional in the video as she expressed how much she misses her late dad and his influence in her life.
Another clip of the now viral video also revealed her father’s beautiful and tastefully built mansion with a neat and expansive compound.
The online community later took to her comment section to console her and praised her for identifying with her root, while also urging her to visit the village more.
