The Bavarians have had two bids rejected for the striker by Liverpool but Romano believes the deal will pull through, as the Germans have submitted a third bid.

He tweeted, “Sadio Mané has reached full verbal agreement with Bayern on personal terms. Three year contract ready – talks will enter into final stages with Liverpool, new bid set to be submitted,”

He added, “LFC are aware of his decision: Mané wants Bayern – and it’s really close now.”

Meanwhile, the Reds have forked out a considerable amount for Nunez, they are apparently attempting to follow that up with an offer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

According to Cadena Ser, Liverpool have offered €100m (£85.7m) for the England star in an effort to secure his services.
