Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has remained adamant that his job is safe despite losing 2-0 to Chelsea in a Premier League fixture on Saturday.
The English tactician insisted he won’t be sacked while speaking to TNT Sports after the match at Stamford Bridge.
Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer scored in the 50th and 64th minutes respectively to inflict a fourth league defeat of the season on United.

The result leaves Carrick’s men sitting in 17th place in the table, separated from the relegation zone only by goal difference.
However, when speaking after the encounter, the 45-year-old insisted he will be in charge of Man United when they take on Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday.
When asked if he expects to be in charge for the next fixture, Carrick simply replied: “Yes.”
