Man commits suicide after warning to his wife and brother went unheeded

A middle-aged man has committed suicide by hanging after catching his wife and rich brother/childhood friend having sex on the matrimonial bed despite warning he gave to the pair to stop the adulterous affair.
An eye-witness narrated that the deceased had previously warned his wife and the lover over their relationship, but the wife insisted on continuing it.
The witness, who gave her name as Gloria, said the husband caught the pair together on their matrimonial bed in Lawa village, Ogbaku community in Mbaitoli Council of Imo, which led to his suicide.
“The man had warned both his wife and the boyfriend, who happens to be his brother and childhood friend from the same kindred, but the wife vowed to continue the ungodly relationship with her husband’s brother/childhood friend, because he is a rich widower, while the husband is poor,” Gloria told DAILY POST.
“On that fateful Sunday, the husband caught them red-handed on their matrimonial bed. He couldn’t bear it; I believe that was why he took his own life.”
The man’s body was found dangling from a tree near his childhood friend’s compound.
The community is still grappling with the aftermath of the incident, with many people left pondering the circumstances that led to the tragedy.
