Jesse Jagz slammed these celebrity endorsements after critics argued they play a huge role in gambling addiction across Nigeria.

Singer, rapper, and record producer Jesse Garba Abaga, better known as Jesse Jagz, has slammed celebrities endorsing and promoting betting and gambling brands in Nigeria.
He called them out recently in a now-trending post shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) page.
Several Nigerian celebrities—including singers, actors, skitmakers, and influencers—hold endorsement deals with both local and international gambling brands.

According to recent statistics, millions of Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 40 actively engage in sports betting and gambling, making the country one of the largest markets in Africa.
Critics have long argued that these celebrity endorsements play a massive role in fueling gambling addiction in Nigeria.
Condemning the practice fiercely, the music star stated that artists endorsing or promoting gambling should be “stoned”.
Taking to his verified handle, Jesse Jagz wrote, “We suppose to dey stone any artist promoting bets and gambling.”
