Nigerian born football agent, Joseph Sunday, is optimistic that Enyimba Football Club of Aba will go all the way to final and win this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
He said this, after Enyimba FC triumphed over Rayon Sports Football Club of Rwanda 5-1 in the return leg of the quarter-final of the Confederation Cup plyed at the Aba International Stadium.
The first leg ended in draw in Kigali before Enyimba thrashed the visitors  in the returned leg to book a place in the semi final.
Joseph who has intermediary license under Sudanese Football Association said on telephone chat that he has been monitoring the progress of Enyimba in the Confederation Cup and he was upbeat that Enyimba has what it takes to reach the final.
“ I  am happy that one of the clubs in Nigeria are in semi final of the Confederation Cup. The result that Enyimba achieved against their opponents Rayon Sports FC was not a surprise to me because Enyimba has shown the character of winning since Confederation kicked off. I believe that if they continue like this, they would go places and win the tournament,” he said.Enyimba faced Northern African Club, Raja Casablanca FC of Morocco in the semi final of CAF confederation Cup scheduled for October 3, at Aba International Stadium.
Asked if Nigerian only surviving club would beat Moroccoan side, Joseph was quick to say that Enyimba has good players that can overcome their opponents. He admitted that the encounter would be tough considering the football pedigree of both sides in Africa but urged Enyimba to win their first leg with wide margin.
“ If Enyimba can win convincingly in their first leg, I think the second leg won’t be difficult because the home team would be under pressure.

All Enyimba can do now is to win their first leg with wide margin so their their return leg would be formality,” he said.
Joseph, a founder of Sunny FC of Isolo also congratulated President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick for his reelection recently. He said his reelection showed that NFF led by Pinnick did well in their first tenure
