Former Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba has expressed his happiness after the Blues’ defeated French champions, Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final.
Chelsea beat the European champions 3-0 on Sunday night to lift this year’s Club World Cup trophy in the United States.
A brace from Cole Palmer and a goal from Joao Pedro ensured the Premier League west London club defeated the Parisians.
Reacting to the outcome of the encounter via his Instagram handle, Drogba noted that Chelsea made history.

“History made we won it [Club World Cup],” the Ivorian posted alongside a picture of Chelsea players with the Club World Cup trophy.
“The world is blue,” he added.

Meanwhile, Chelsea after lifting the Club World Cup trophy will now shift attention to the pre-season ahead of the new campaign.
The Blues’ next friendly game is against Bayer Leverkusen at Stamford Bridge on August 8.
