Victor Moses was happy to cap his appearance for Chelsea with a goal against Burnely on Saturday.

Moses’ 89th minute strike ensured the Blues recorded a 3-0 win against the Clarets at the Stamford Bridge.

The Nigerian, who was on target for Antonio Conte’s men in their 3-2 League Cup win on Tuesday replaced Willian Borges da Silva in the 77th minute before scoring after combining well with Pedro.

“Amazing feeling to win today in front of our fans! On to the next! Pleased to get another goal #CFC ,” Moses tweeted.

The win ensures the Roman Army maintains its fine run in the English topflight with three wins from three games and sit atop the log.

Moses would be hoping to replicate his form for Nigeria when they face Tanzania in September 2’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo.

Chelsea welcome Manchester City to the Stamford Bridge in their next outing billed for September 10.
