British rapper Skepta expresses concern over escalating injustice in Nigeria

British-Nigerian grime MC, rapper, and record producer Joseph Olaitan Adenuga Jr., better known as Skepta, has lamented the worsening injustice in Nigeria.

He made his feelings on the matter known recently while speaking in a video broadcast, which has since gone viral.

In the clip, Skepta appealed to fellow celebrities and the international community to assist Nigerians in drawing global attention to the injustices in the West African nation.

The Bad Energy (Stay Far Away) crooner further explained that while Nigerians are resilient, they have been suffering from injustice for a very long time.

While addressing the level of injustice in the country, the rapper said, “There is so much injustice in Nigeria. And whenever I can, whether it is at my shows, verbally, or through images, whatever I can do, we are going to speak up against injustice at all times.

“Nigerians need help. We need people to speak up for us as well. We need to protect Nigerians. There is so much injustice in Nigeria.

“This is my message to the people; please, I know that we [Nigerians] are resilient and we make everything look good, but we need help, too. Please, help us.”
