BBNaija 11: Flora claps back at critics, defends wearing wrappers on national TV

​Flora, a beautypreneur and makeup studio owner, is one of the 24 housemates competing in this year’s “Show Yourself” edition of the BBNaija reality show.

​Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate Flora Egbedi, simply known as Flora, has defended her decision to move around in wrappers inside Biggie’s house.

​The 30-year-old BBNaija contestant made a case for herself on Friday morning while justifying her fashion choices on the popular reality TV show.

​Prior to her decision to clap back at her detractors, some of her fellow housemates had expressed misgivings over her style.

​In addition, several fans of the reality show and other netizens criticized Flora for constantly wearing wrappers on air.

​Some of these internet users went as far as digging up photos she posted prior to entering the house and contrasting them with pictures of her wearing wrappers inside.

​Reacting to the criticism, Flora protested and insisted that her attire was fine since she was indoors and not attending a special occasion.

​“I am in my house. I am in my Big Brother’s house, that’s why I am wearing wrappers. Should I be wearing heels instead?” she fumed.

​Wading into the debate, fellow housemate Bells supported Flora, accusing the other housemates of overdressing.

​“You are in a house! You people who overdress are just in a house. She is at home, which is why she wears a wrapper. We are in our Big Brother’s house, yet you people dress like you’re walking a Paris runway show,” Bells said.
