APC Forum in Akoko North West reaffirms Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, backs Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid

The 2027 re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term received a major boost as the Forum of all Akoko North West Local Government, Appointees and Elected Office holders unanimously agreed to work with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to deliver the State for Tinubu.
The meeting, which was convened by Hon. Ayodele Akande, Commissioner for Water Resources, Public Sanitation and Hygiene, held on Sunday evening at the Local Government Council Hall, Okeagbe-Akoko.
Over 50 political office holders, including commissioners, lawmakers, council chairmen, councillors, special assistants, and LCDA executives were in attendance.
The forum also re-affirmed the leadership of Gov. Aiyedatiwa as the leader of the party in Ondo State against all past political bickerings.
After delivering the goodwill messages from Governor Aiyedatiwa to the Forum, Akande explained the reasons why he initiated the meeting after the approval of Mr.Governor.
In his address, Akande condemned some agents using against the present government for their selfish reasons and appeals to such people to desist from such acts because cyberbullying is a highly criminal offense.
He enjoyed the forum members to join hands to get her and form a strong alliance with the governor by repositioning ANWLG to brace up towards enjoying more dividends of democracy.
Akande stressed further that he could speak from the vantage position as a member of the State Executive with the Supreme Court victory that Mr. Governor will now be able to concentrate on giving our people an easy life. Saying, OUR EASE is here
Supporting Akande’s stance, Hon. Kehinde Obanla, APC Chairman in Akoko North West and Special Assistant on Mobilisation to the Governor, warned against attempts to fractionalize the party, stressing that such acts would no longer be tolerated.
Also lending his voice, former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bolarinwa Oluwasegunota, urged party leaders to work in harmony with the governor, saying, “Ijoba l’emi n se” — meaning everyone must support the government of the day.
Other speakers, including Hon. Olayode Jayeola, SA on Mobilisation, and Hon. Esan Owolabi, Executive Chairman of the LG, echoed calls for unity and total commitment to the OFT 2027 project.
They urged members to focus on making Akoko North West great rather than fueling divisions.
In his closing remark, Hon. Owolabi thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for authorizing the meeting and reaffirmed that the Ondo for Tinubu movement has come to stay in the local government.

Bolarinwa Oluwasegunota (former ODHA Speaker), Hon. Shaba, Hon. Olorunfemi Christopher, Hon. Alayonde Jayeola, as well as vice chairmen, councillors, secretaries, and LCDA committee members.
