Nollywood actor, producer, and director Richard Oguntimehin, better known as Don Richard, has debunked trending reports of his death on social media.
He dismissed the news of his demise on Friday in a post shared on his official Instagram page.
The veteran thespian was reacting to reports claiming he had passed away on Thursday, 23 April 2026, following a protracted battle with kidney failure.

Addressing the rumour in his latest post, Richard dismissed the reports, insisting he is hale and hearty.
He went on to blame the false information on bloggers, asking “God to judge” those responsible.
“There’s nothing wrong with me; I appreciate my fans for their love and concern. I’m alive, hale and hearty. I dey alive ooo—the bloggers should continue their bad posting, God will judge them, amen,” Richard said.
In July 2025, after reportedly selling his property and vehicles to fund treatment for kidney disease, the actor had solicited financial assistance from the general public.
