Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s right of reply: Plagiarism, low intellect, self-loathing from the “grandmother of bigotry”

Poor Abike!
As Aisha Yesufu said, “Whenever you think this woman wouldn’t go lower, she finds a way of really digging in and finding a new low.”
On March 2, 2026, Abike hit yet another low when she decided to publish a Right of Reply (RoR) to an article I wrote on February 5, 2026 about her incontinent ethnic jingoism – she plagiarised my article and tried to pass it off as her own original thought! In this electronic age, this is indeed a new low, not only in moral character but also a display of a total absence of intelligence, self-loathing and limitless shamelessness.
Below is the introduction to my article followed by Abike’s plagiarised version for comparison:
“Several Nigerian newspapers published the list of 79 Nigerians to be deported by the U.S., deportees described by the U.S. Department of homeland Security (DHS) as… “the worst of the worst.” It is important to note that the U.S. described these 79 individuals as Nigerians – not Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Efik or any other ethnic group – NIGERIANS. Simple. But in Nigeria, Abike Dabiri Erewa, the rabid Igbo hating chairwoman of NIDCOM can only function by dividing Nigerians into ethnic groups, engaging in ethnic baiting and jingoism designed to plunge Nigeria into the abyss of 1994 Rwanda.” (TheNiche, February 5, 2026).
On March 2, 2026, this same Abike, who on August 3, 2025, claimed on Arise TV that 20 out of 21 Nigerians on death row in Indonesia were from Anambra State and one from Edo State, plagiarised the above introduction and wrote: “The US Department of Homeland Security clearly described the affected persons as Nigerians. Full stop. There was no ethnic tag. No tribal qualifier. No regional coding. Anyone attempting to dissect criminality is the one injecting division… Abike Dabiri-Erewa will not rush to label criminals by tribe because that is not leadership. That is not governance. That is not nation-building.” (TheNiche, March 2, 2026). What gall!
Aside from the obvious plagiarism, the self-abhorrence explicit in Abike’s own words is only matched by her ocean sized hypocrisy that condemns observing that the majority of those deported by the U.S. were Yoruba – the very thing she did to Igbo people on Arise TV with no single credible document to back up her incendiary, unproven claim about 20 out of 21 Nigerians on Indonesian death row being from Anambra.
After reading this as her Right of Reply (RoR), I finally understood the absolute imperative for Abike to hide behind her avatar, Moradeke Kolawole, who exists solely as an online entity programmed to abuse anyone who calls out Abike Dabiri Erewa for her vile ethnic jingoism, ethnic baiting, hate speech and other egregious acts unbecoming of a human being, let alone one that parades herself as a public officer.
The RoR showcased a total lack of moral character, a total lack of intelligence and self-loathing so desperate that she literally tried to run away from herself, assume my persona and cast her disgusting toga of ethnic hatred on me, possibly believing that because it took her a month to do this, it would not be noticed! In this electronic age, no less! What a new low in intellect, indeed!

RIGHT OF REPLY: Lilian Onoh, stop your rabid tribal bigotry
Abike so loathes being identified as the rabid ethnic jingoist that is her trademark that in an act of possible bi-polar or multi-personality disorder, she actually condemned herself by her plagiarised submission, stating clearly that what she did on Arise TV on August 4, 2025 – i.e. identifying Nigerians in overseas prison by tribe and state of origin – was “not leadership, not governance and not nation building.”
This is an own goal so spectacular that there must be an Oscar or Nobel Prize for self-immolation. She literally set herself on fire. Abike, d’alu.
For reference, below is what she said on Arise TV on August 3, 2025 in response to the anti-Nigerian riots in Ghana: “The tribe you mention (Igbos) will ask if it’s because of us. You know what? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Out of 21 of them, 20 were from one state in the South-East. The other was from Edo State.”
So, it is no longer me calling out Abike’s behaviour as reprehensible but Abike herself labelling her own action on Arise TV as: “injecting division… is not leadership… not governance… not nation-building.”
This is what happens when you plagiarise someone else’s work and lack the necessary intelligence to understand what it says. I finally believe the rumours about how she acquired her Mass Communications degree and how she became a “journalist”! UNILAG should cancel or rescind that degree before she disgraces them further.
Since she has acknowledged herself as an ethnic bigot and accused me of tribal bigotry for writing what she plagiarised to identify herself as a rabid tribal bigot (God have mercy!), I will help her by referring her to other publications she can equally plagiarise to help her recalibrate her senses and recognise herself in the mirror:

“Just because Abike Dabiri was rejected by an Igbo man she wanted badly, she now goes about using her office to downgrade Igbos. She forgets that her father ended up as a madman.” (Nkem Obu on Facebook).

Azuka Onwuka described her actions as, “self-splashed mud on her exalted office and that of President Bola Tinubu, to whom she reports. It was also a tacit endorsement of hate speech by an official…” (Punch Newspaper, September 9, 2025).

“Vote of No Confidence”- UK Igbo Diaspora Petitions President Tinubu over Dabiri Erewa’s Alleged Hate Speech.” (The Nigerian Lawyer, 16/09/25).
Even Sat Guru Maharaj ji condemned her and asked President Tinubu to remove her in the Independent Newspaper on November 6, 2025 along with a slew of notable personalities, including Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, Yoruba elders, Steve Osuji and Ike Abonyi. The list is practically endless. Abike’s reputation as the “queen mother” or “grandmother” of bigotry, hate, ethnic baiting and ethnic malfeasance is eloquently captured in Aisha Yesufu’s Instagram post: “Abike Dabiri has consistently shown this trait, especially when it comes to bias against Igbo people…”
As if to prove her obsession with Igbo men, particularly men from Anambra State, as alleged in Nkem Obu’s facebook post, she inexplicably and bizarrely injected Peter Obi into her self-defeating plagiarised response, shouting at the top of her desperate voice that I and Peter Obi are planning to take her job away if Peter Obi becomes President. I suspect she must be in love with Peter Obi because her obsession with him is not normal. Unfortunately for her, she dare not stand next to Peter Obi’s beautiful wife without suffering clinical depression at the contrast. It would be too painful for her.
In fact, based on her proven record of inhumanity to Igbo people – especially her heinous removal of Igbos in the Sahara Desert from the buses provided by the Nigerian Government to evacuate them from the Sudanese Civil War in 2023, I cannot classify her as human; and I don’t even believe it is fair to the Yoruba people to label Abike as Yoruba.
She is a creature totally immersed in hatred and lies, repugnant and unfit to be part of any ethnic group in Nigeria or anywhere else. She is also an open plagiarist who condemned herself with her own defence. I already proved she was a liar the last time her avatar penned a RoR.
The self-loathing evident in Abike’s desperation to escape her own hate-filled character is pitiable. She clearly abhors herself. She despises her own character. But it seems that the legion of spirits of hatred indwelling her is extremely powerful. So after each atrocity she commits, the first thing she does is to try to deny herself and distance herself from herself whenever legion gives her a minor respite by attacking those that condemn her deplorable conduct. Sadly, she lacks the intelligence to do anything other than abuse people vide the Moradeke avatar. What a miserable, useless existence.
However, based on her own Right of Reply, written under an unknown influence that did not permit her to understand the meaning of the plagiarised content she published, Abike Dabiri Erewa has finally joined me and millions of Nigerians to agree on one thing: Abike must go. Simple.
