Tinubu hailed Lawal for extending his administration’s development initiatives beyond physical infrastructure to human capital development.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, whom he described as a “renaissance governor” on the occasion of his 61st birthday.
He celebrated the governor on Wednesday in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to President Tinubu, Lawal, who marked his birthday on 2 September, has put the state on the path of holistic development through his multi-sectoral approach to governance.
He went on to commend the governor’s infrastructure and urban renewal drive, industrialisation efforts, and investments in education and healthcare.
He further noted Lawal brought positive change to Zamfara through initiatives that cut across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

He also praised him for extending his administration’s development initiatives beyond physical infrastructure to human capital development.
The statement read in part: “The President celebrates Dr Lawal on this occasion, describing him as a Renaissance governor who has brought positive change to Zamfara.
“President Tinubu particularly acknowledges Governor Lawal’s infrastructure and urban renewal drive, as well as his industrialisation effort in the state.
“The President commends the governor for going beyond infrastructure provision to rehabilitate over 800 schools, recruit over 2,000 teachers, upgrade hospitals, and provide medical supplies across Zamfara.”
Tinubu joined the governor’s family, friends, and the people of Zamfara State in celebrating him on the occasion.
