Terry G made the claim following the omission of his hits songs, ‘Akpako Master’, ‘Free Madness’ and ‘Run Mad’.

Afrobeats singer, rapper, songwriter and record executive, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, better known as Terry G, has accused American music magazine, Billboard of robbery after it omitted his songs while publishing its Top 50 ‘Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time’ list.
He made his feelings known in a post he shared shortly after the list was made public.
TheNiche had earlier reported that 2Face’s hit song, “African Queen” topped the list curated by Billboard staff, while two songs from Wizkid, Ojuelegba” at number 2 and “Essence” featuring Tems at number 5 also made the top 10.
Other notable artists in the top 10 include Rema with “Calm Down” at number 4, Favour with “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)” at number 3, and CKay with “Love Nwantiti” at number 6.
D’banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’, Davido’s ‘Fall’, Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’ and P-Square’s ‘Chop My Money Remix’ (feat. Akon) completed the top 10.

The list, which showcased the diversity and richness of Afrobeats music, also featured several other Nigerian artists.
However, Terry G’s hit songs, ‘Akpako Master’, ‘Free Madness’ and ‘Run Mad’, were conspicuously missing.
Reacting to the trending list posted by the American music magazine, Terry G wrote, “TERRY G robbed.”
After his post made the rounds online, it elicited mixed reactions from Afrobeats music fans.
While some netizens agreed with the singer, others argued that none of his songs stood a chance of making the list.
