Ruth Kadiri claims her movies have healing power

Nigerian actress, screenwriter and film producer, Ruth Kadiri has asserted that her movies have healing power while sharing a new post on social media. 

The mother of two also said she sees acting as her calling and her purpose on earth.

She made these claims on her Instagram page recently, while sharing beautiful photos of herself on the popular microblogging platform.

According to the award-winning thespian, as a woman and filmmaker, she has learned to create her own visual style, adding that she is sharing her mind with the world through the lens.

Ruth went on to stress that filmmaking is her purpose and she has found peace in it.

Taking to her Instagram page, she wrote, “As a woman and a filmmaker, I’ve learnt to create my own visual style!

“To Share my mind with the world through my lens. And through God, I have seen hearts healed through my stories. It’s my purpose, and I’ve found peace with it.”

Ruth Kadiri ventured into acting after she was given a role in the movie “Boys Cot” and has since then acted in over fifty films. 

As a screenwriter, she has written and co-written several movies including Matters Arising, Heart of a Fighter, Ladies Men, Sincerity, First Class and Over the Edge. 

She also produced films such as Matters Arising, Over the Edge, Somebody Lied and Memory Lane, which deals with the issue of lies and deceit.
