The President of the Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, has said that Nigeria is so bastardised following the outcome of February 23 presidential election.
At the church’s headquarters in Otta during its mid week service on March 7, Oyedepo said: “I have not seen where they have not finished election and the result is out. This nation is so bastardised. Even primary school children knows that you have to finish your exams before result will be out.
“The situation is like having eight subjects to write in exam and you finished five and your results comes out,  how possible is that? What will happen to other areas that did not vote? Why are we behaving like a dark continent? But before we are reduced to an animal farm,  God will bring us out.”
He also thanked God for granting the prayer of a peaceful election. “We prayed and fast for peace and free election and God hearkened to our prayers. In this same way the forth coming election will be peaceful. Anyone that won’t let Nigeria rest, no matter what, must be laid to rest.”
Concerning the Federal government’s report that churches in Kaduna should revalidate their facilities, Oyedepo warned government not to tamper with any of the church facilities else they won’t be able to stop what they start.
“They may think they got power, but Jesus is our rock of defense and he will sure give us victory. No amount of gang-ups can stand against the church. They came with this earlier, and Christian Association of Nigeria protested against them and now they have come up with it again. Kaduna has become a killer state.
Judgment will rise,” he said.
