Fans of the missing Argentine player, Emiliano Sala, are wishing him well.
Social media users took to various platforms to pray for Sala who has been missing since Monday when he boarded a small plane from Nantes in France to Cardiff where he has just been signed on by Cardiff City.
The fans shared what they said was his last WhatsApp message before the plane went missing.
“I am here in a plane that looks like it is falling apart,” the message reads. “If in an hour and a half you have no news of me, I don’t know if they’re going to send someone to look for me…”Sala was said to have written.
Messages of hope and encouragement have been pouring in from fans who also said Sala’s family should sue Cardiff City for putting him in harm’s way.
Former colleagues at Nantes and new ones at Cardiff City have also wished the player well.
Fans also berated Juventus player, Cristiano Ronaldo for posting a picture of himself in a plane while other players are praying for Sala.
