Zinedine Zidane pulled a fast one on Thursday, taking a shocking decision to quit Real Madrid.
The Frenchman football icon made the shock decision to step down from his position as Madrid Coach after two-and-a-half years, just five days after winning his third successive Champions League title.
The decision did not go down with his supporters and rivals alike.
“I’ve taken the decision to not continue next year as Real Madrid Coach,” Zidane told reporters on Thursday.

“I made this decision because I love this club, I love (Florentino Perez) and I am grateful towards him.”
The social media response on Zidane’s resignation has been huge.
