Zambia striker Rachael Kundananji has said she and her teammates are battle-ready for their crucial Group C tie against reigning champions, Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
She declared their readiness ahead of the encounter billed for Al Madina Stadium, Rabat.
Zambia began their WAFCON campaign on an impressive note, thrashing the Cleopatras of Egypt 6-0 in their first group game.
Nigeria, on the other hand, suffered a shocking 3-2 defeat to tournament debutants Malawi.

With these outcomes, the Super Falcons will be desperate to secure maximum points against the Copper Queens to get their campaign back on track.
Meanwhile, a victory could end Nigeria’s defence of their trophy and qualification for the next Women’s World Cup, while ensuring Zambia’s passage to the quarter-finals.
Speaking about the tie, Kundananji reckoned beating the Super Falcons will be tough, but she is confident Zambia can prevail over Justine Madugu’s side.
She told reporters, “We understand it’s not an easy task; it’s the game that will determine both teams’ fate, it’s the game that will make everything easy or tough. It won’t be an easy game, and we are just looking forward to doing our best.”
