Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yinka Quadri has revealed that some of the actresses in the movie industry that he was romantically involved with eventually became friends with his wife.
The veteran thespian made this known recently while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of the Africanalist Podcast.
According to Quadri, who features mostly in Yoruba movies, despite being aware of his relationships with some of the female movie stars, his wife would still make them comfortable when they spent the night at his home after late-night film productions.
He went on to disclose that some of the women got jealous and approached his wife to gossip about his alleged relationships with other actresses.
“It got to a stage, I won’t mention the ladies’ names in the industry. They would become friends with my wife and start giving gossip to my wife that I am dating so so so in the industry,” he said.

Quadri further revealed that jealousy sometimes set in and caused disagreements among the women he dated.
He continued, “And there were some of them that we were dating who went home out of jealousy. Meanwhile, my wife would say she was aware already and she doesn’t fight them because of that.”
The 67-year-old actor explained that when some actresses occasionally spent the night at his residence when movie shoots ended late, his wife would ensure they were comfortable and prepare food for them.
“Sometimes when production ends late, they would sleep in my house. And that my wife is aware I am dating them, she would still feed them and everything,” Quadri further revealed.
