Nigeria’s Super Eagles Manager, Gernot Rohr, has said that it was not the end of the road for the dropped national team players as they jet out on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Abuja.
The affected players, whom he described as stand up players, according to him, could still be invited incase of enjury or ill-health in the camp.
He also disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari held a wonderful reception for the team at Abuja, stressing that Victor Moses would join them in London for the friendly with England at Wembley at the weekend.
Rohr said that though his team was the youngest going for the tournament, they would not be disgraced.
The players dropped include
Uche Agbo, Junior Lukosa, Moses Simon, Stephen Eze, and Jide Ajiboye.
