Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has hailed his team after their 3-0 victory over their Istanbul rivals, Fenerbahçe.
He expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance while addressing journalists after the league encounter played at the RAMS Park on Sunday night.
Okan Buruk’s side returned to winning ways following their Turkish Cup quarter-final defeat to Gençlerbirliği last Wednesday.
The Super Eagles striker was on target in the thrilling contest, netting the curtain-raiser in the 40th minute.
Barış Alper Yılmaz and Lucas Torreira subsequently wrapped up the scoring in the second half, ensuring Galatasaray secured all three points.

Speaking after the encounter, Osimhen said he was proud of his teammates’ performance during the game.
He noted that they needed to win the match following the disappointment of being knocked out in the last eight of the cup competition.
“We fought well as a team. We disappointed our fans in the cup. I’m proud of my team’s performance and happy about the victory,” Osimhen was quoted by Fanatik.
The 27-year-old has now scored 20 goals across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds this season.
Meanwhile, with this latest victory, Galatasaray remain on course to win a fourth consecutive league title, having established a seven-point lead at the top of the table with three games remaining in the regular season.
