Social media influencer and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman has described Benue State as the least developed state he has visited in Nigeria.
He made this known in a now viral video he shared after a recent visit to the state.
Taking to his verified handle, the controversial social media personality wrote, “Benue is still in the year 1940. It is the most underdeveloped state I have ever been to.”
Verydarkman went on to lament about the state of infrastructure and insecurity in the North-Central state.

According to him, investors are discouraged from coming to the state due to deplorable road conditions and safety concerns.
He also claimed that his effort at providing water for people of a community in the state is currently being frustrated by insecurity concerns.
“Investors can’t come because of bad roads and insecurity.
“I’m currently drilling a borehole in Yelwata, but the people can’t continue the work because they are afraid of being killed,” he added.
After Verydarkman’s video surfaced on the Internet it stirred reactions from netizens.
While some Nigerians shared his sentiments, others urged him to support his claim that Benue is the least developed state with evidence.
