Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, has alleged that popular rapper Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, alias Zlatan Ibile, married his partner Davita solely to promote his new collaborative track “Inferno”, featuring Peruzzi and Shoday.
The popular influencer levelled the allegation in a post shared on his verified handle on Wednesday, 28 October 2026.
On Saturday, 24 October 2026, Zlatan and Davita held a star-studded, lavish traditional wedding ceremony tagged #DTTheUnion in Lagos State, with numerous videos from the event subsequently flooding social media platforms.
Some of the celebrities spotted at the ceremony included Davido, Teni, Soso Soberekon, Abu Abel, Seyi Vodi, Small Doctor, Bella Shmurda, 9ice, Young Jonn, Peruzzi, Lil Kesh, Rahman Jago, Iyabo Ojo, Phyno, and BBNaija’s Tacha, among others.
Bracket, 9ice, Teni, Yhemolee, Fola, Seyi Vibez, and the Loud Urban Choir were among the musicians who performed at the wedding.

However, despite the hype surrounding the event, VeryDarkMan has questioned the buzz generated by both the wedding and the song’s release, stating that he would be disappointed if Zlatan’s latest track failed to hold the top spot on Apple Music for a full month.
“Person wey do a whole wedding because he won promote him album, album no blow, wedding no blow,” he wrote.
The social media personality also took aim at the online publicity surrounding the wedding, arguing that the posts shared by blogs failed to generate significant engagement.
“All the blogs that posted the wedding, no one entered 5k comments. All the PR, Vincent everywhere. If that song no stay No. 1 for one month, e go pain me,” he added.
VeryDarkMan’s comments come after listeners began speculating that Zlatan made a reference to him in the track.
In the song, Zlatan raps, “I no be Vincent, I no fit masturbate,” prompting listeners to link the lyric directly to VeryDarkMan.
