Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has suspended the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Dr. Julie C.Onyeukwu with immediate effect.
Her suspension was announced in a statement issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.
According to Daily Post, Onyeukwu was directed to hand over all government property in her possession to the Permanent Secretary or the most senior person in the commission.

Emelumba further noted that the suspension of the Chairman was authorised by the state governor.
However, the commissioner, did not disclose what led to her suspension or the duration.
