Jandor, however, admitted that Seyi Tinubu is qualified to run for the position in 2027.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 governorship candidate in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has claimed that his experience in politics gives him an edge over President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, in their quest to become the Lagos State governor.
He made this known on Thursday night while featuring as a guest on Channels Television programme, ‘Politics Today’.
He, however, admitted that the incumbent president’s son is qualified to run for the position of Lagos State governor in 2027.
While responding to a question on whether he stands a chance against the likes of Seyi, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Tokunbo Abiru, and others, Jandor argued that he’s the only one who has been on the ballot as a governorship candidate outside Ambode.

He added that he is also the only one among them, who has contested for elective position without “backing”.
Speaking during the interview, Jandor said, “All the names that you have mentioned, just like I said earlier, they are all qualified to be governor of Lagos. This includes Seyi himself, every one of them.
“And you’re not going to take anything away from no one. But from all of them that you have mentioned, aside from the former governor that you mentioned, none of them have actually been on the ballot as governorship candidates aside from myself.
“So I come with that experience. I come with the experience of somebody who has single-handedly gone through that process without any backing.”
