TVC’s Ayodeji Moradeyo wins 2025 Media Man of the Year

Ace journalist, Ayodeji Moradeyo of TVC News, has been named 2025 Media Man of the Year by Hero’s Magazine.

The honour came at the 18th Annual Hero’s Magazine Awards held at the Dome, Akure. The event drew top dignitaries and industry leaders.

Chairman of the occasion, former SGF and the Olu of Ilu Abo, Oba Olu Falae, emphasized the importance of recognising individuals who have excelled in their callings.

He lamented the culture of neglecting the contributions of outstanding citizens.

Representing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Fasoranti, congratulated the awardees, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to human capital development and security in Ondo State.

Moradeyo, who began his journalism career in 2003 at Galaxy Television, worked with National Mirror, 234Next, Niger Delta Standard, and National Life Newspaper before joining TVC Communications 14 years ago, where he continues to make remarkable contributions.

Publisher of Hero’s Magazine, Sunday Akinbiola, explained that honorees were selected through a rigorous screening and voting process aimed at celebrating excellence, leadership, and service to humanity.

The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye; the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; Ondo State Attorney General, Dr. Kayode Ajulo; MD of Benin Owena River Basin Authority, Dr. Femi Adekanmbi; and Founder of Dorian Home for Charity, Dr. Tolulola Bayode.
