Okeke-Ozzoude said she’s in the race to provide strong and transparent leadership that will improve the welfare of actors.

Nollywood actress and movie producer, Ifeoma Okeke-Ozzoude, has announced that she will be contesting for the position of National Secretary of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
She made this known on Monday while speaking with TheNiche.
According to her, she is in the race because the association needs strong and transparent leaders, who are committed to the collective welfare of its members.
She went on to say AGN is at a crucial moment where the need for accountability, innovation, and sustainable structures has never been greater.

She said, “I come with integrity and 28 years of dedicated service in our industry.
“I am not only experienced, I am deeply committed to uplifting actors across all zones.”
Okeke-Ozzoude further said if she is elected, she will drive training and retraining programs for capacity building and advocate full insurance coverage and improved remuneration for actors.
She added that she is out to create twinning and exchange programs to expand opportunities beyond Nigeria, and strengthen international collaborations with agencies like the UN and WIPO.
The Anambra State born thespian also promised to ensure every state chapter is carried along.
