Former Tottenham star and football pundit, Tim Sherwood has predicted that three London clubs will end Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge this season.

North London club, Arsenal are currently 8 points behind table topping Liverpool on the Premier League table.

Mikel Arteta’s side, however, have a game in hand, having played 25 matches, while the Red have played 26 games.

While analysing the English Premier League (EPL) title race, Sherwood said London clubs such as Chelsea, West Ham United, and Fulham will do all they can to hinder Arsenal’s title challenge this season.

“I think if you look at it, Liverpool have got four home games out of the next six, and Anfield is a fortress,” Sherwood told Premier League Productions.

He added, “I look at Arsenal’s fixtures, and their home games are London derbies.

“Chelsea, West Ham [United], and Fulham will definitely want to spoil Arsenal’s season. They won’t want Arsenal to win the league.”

Arsenal will take on West Ham United in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

They are ahead of Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, Bournemouth, and Manchester City on the log.

The Gunners have finished in second place twice in the last two seasons behind champions Manchester City.
