While majority of those inducted received their plaque of honour in person, Dr. Kolade was unavoidably absent.

Explaining why he was unable to grace the occasion during the courtesy visit by the management of the organisation, he said: ” I was not able to attend this year’s lecture because this year has been my learning year, I have been learning how to walk again.

“I think all the people who know me know that I have been a victim of the surgeon’s attention early in the year and the amount of surgery that was done on me, I have been told not to be too ambitious to run around for the rest of this year.
