British pundit and former Chelsea star Chris Sutton has forecasted the possible outcomes of English Premier League (EPL) matchday seven fixtures.
He made the predictions on Thursday, October 15, 2026, while analysing the ten matches billed to be played over the weekend in his column for BBC Sport.
According to Sutton, Everton—who host Chelsea in an early kick-off on Saturday afternoon—will hold the Blues to a 1-1 draw, despite their free-scoring form last weekend.
He also tipped Manchester City to thrash Ipswich Town 4-0 when they visit the Etihad Stadium, adding that Liverpool will play a 2-2 draw with in-form Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.
He went on to say that Newcastle United will suffer back-to-back defeats against Aston Villa in Saturday evening’s encounter.
On Sunday, Sutton made a bold prediction for the game between Leeds United and Man United at Elland Road, saying the former will thump their more illustrious opponents 5-0.
The former striker equally expects EPL champions Arsenal to secure a comfortable 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest when they visit The City Ground.
Below are all of Sutton’s week 7 EPL predictions:
Saturday
Everton 1–1 Chelsea
Brentford 2–2 Liverpool
Fulham 3–1 Hull City
Manchester City 4–0 Ipswich Town
Newcastle United 2–3 Aston Villa
Sunday
Bournemouth 1–1 Sunderland
Brighton 2–1 Crystal Palace
