Seyi Vibez reportedly held a concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island on Saturday night.

Several fans of Afrobeats singer, Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, popularly known as Seyi Vibez, have reportedly lost their lives in a fatal accident which occurred on Saturday night.
The devastating news was shared by an eyewitness identified on X platform as @alli_ya7.
According to her, the victims had the crash and passed away while returning from Seyi Vibez’s concert held at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island.
In the now trending video on social media, she advised the public against reckless driving, adding that the victims engaged in a car race on the expressway before their death.
She wrote: “They left the show and started racing on the express, trying to overtake other cars. Why race on the highway? May their souls rest in peace. SPEED KILLS.”

After the video of the fatal incident which involved more than four vehicles surfaced online, it sparked outrage and grief.
An X user, @Nedu1313:wrote, If you have a car and maintain it well, you won’t be racing like an idiot. RIP to the lost souls.”
Another netizen, @JeSuis_Ugonna said, “My own is that I hope they didn’t involve innocent motorists on their lane.”
@ChiamakaNwaJohn added, “I’m very sure they also took other innocent souls with them. What kind of recklessness is this??? May the soul of the innocent people caught in their madness rest in peace.”
Another Internet user @Namoako12 wrote, “The choices humans make sometimes may never make sense to me. May their souls rest in peace.”
