Afrobeat singer, activist and instrumentalist, Seun Kuti, has made it clear that he won’t be leaving his wife if she is caught cheating on him with another man, arguing that infidelity “doesn’t mean anything” in a relationship.
He made this known while discussing marriage and the way couples respond to cheating in a video that recently resurfaced online.
While arguing that cheating in marriage is possible, the artist said:
“If my wife cheats on me, I won’t leave her because it doesn’t mean anything.”
Seun went on to criticise the way some men in Africa react to infidelity, adding: “African men are posing as if cheating isn’t a normal thing in a relationship.”

While speaking on who would have access to his property if he passes away, the human rights activist named his sister’s child as the person he considers his “real blood”.
He said: “The only person who can have access to my property is my sister’s child because that’s the real blood.”
Seun Kuti married his wife, Yetunde George Ademiluyi, also known as Chef Yeide, in October 2020 after dating for many years.
Together, they share one child (a daughter named Ifafunmike Adara Anikulapo-Kuti), though Seun Kuti has mentioned having another daughter from a previous relationship prior to their marriage.
