Dutch pundit and former AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has backed Arsenal to win this season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) trophy, despite most analysts opting for Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain as favourites.
He made his views known on Tuesday night while analysing the semi-final tie between Bayern and PSG on Amazon Prime.
In a high-scoring encounter, the French giants defeated the visiting Bundesliga outfit 5–4 in the first leg of their semi-final clash.
While analysing the match, Seedorf was unimpressed by the quality of defending displayed by both sides at the Parc des Princes.

According to the Dutchman, Arsenal are in a strong position to win the European competition this season, given what he witnessed on the night.
He said: “Ask the goalkeepers if they were happy with the scoreline.
“We’ve seen teams like Arsenal getting so many clean sheets and making a difference. If there is a team that could bring it home, it could be them.”
Arsenal travel to Atletico Madrid for the first leg of their semi-final clash on Wednesday night.
